Welcome to our website on Assessment! We will be focusing our work on Damian Cooper's session on Assessment from the April 23 Reaching and Teaching 2010 Conference in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our website presentation will focus on a brief summary of his 8 Big Ideas as well as three areas where we felt could have been further developed: Backwards Design, Formative Assessment, and Technology to Enhance Assessment. Our aims is to detail what we felt were the gaps in the session on Assessment and also include areas for further research. Our mission critical objectives which will be detailed in the following pages are Backward Design, Formative Assessment, Technology to Enhance Assessment, Further Research Avenues, Links, Videos, and Resource List.
